If the weather is warm enough we can take the session outdoors to a backyard or a nearby park.

students who miss the picture day
If you cannot make it on your school’s picture day, Alpina Photography’s individual school portrait sessions are for you. You can just book a private session for your child at our studio in Montgomery, NW.

Picture Day At Akidemy Preschool
Today, I would like to share with you my photo day experience at Akidemy Preschool in Calgary and a few tips and tricks about how I photograph little kids and how I retouch those photos.

How to dress the kids for the session?
You can dress your child(ren) any style you want. It can be casual or fancy, or a special theme. Just make sure their hair is nicely done and clothing is clean.
How do we book our child's preschool photos?
Booking and payment is done online by each parent through Alpina Photography website. Your school sends a booking guide explaining how to book your session online You can also contact us for a copy of the guide.
How many photos do we get from school photo session?
1 or 2 photos are included depending on which package you purchased. You can always purchase extra photos regardless of the package you choose at the booking time.
If I choose digital + print package, can I choose different poses for the digital copy and the print?
No, your print matches with your digital copy of your selected photo. However, you can other additional digital images or different size prints as many as you want.
What is the timeline of receving photos?
Within a week following your photo shoot, you receive in the e-mail an online proof gallery. Then you choose your images that is included in your package and order the ones you would like to have additionally. Within a week from your selection, you receive your fully edited high resolution digital images in an online gallery where you can download for yourself and share with your loved ones.
