Yes, you can order a variety of different size of photo prints. We are working with a professional lab located in Toronto. You can order your prints through your online gallery. It usually takes 5-10 business days for prints to arrive at Alpina Studio and you get an email when it is ready for pick up.

You can book your session online from the website. Each type of session has its own page and you will see booking button on each of them. Session fee is paid in full at the time of booking. You can order extra images, after seeing your online gallery.

I enjoy the beauty of natural light as much as the creativity that comes with the studio lighting; so I do both. If we’re outdoors, it’s not a guesswork, I use natural light. If it’s an indoor shoot, it is usually studio or studio + natural light, depending on the occasion and the location.

No, those 5 photos are a gift from us for booking your session with us. You can order as many photos as you want after seeing your proof gallery. There are digital packages where you can save greatly on per photo price, which is $35.

Depending on the type of photo shoot, usually within a week from your session, you receive an e-mail invitation to view your proof gallery. Next, you choose your complimentary photos included in your session fee and any extra images you would like to purchase additionally. I edit those photos and upload to your gallery once completed. You get a notification when your edited images are ready for you to download.

Yes, my website allows to view your online proof gallery, where you get to choose the images you would like to include in your package and also order additional digital images and prints. Once you receive your final images, you can download and share them with your family and friends on all major social media platforms from within your private gallery.

You can use PayPal, credit card or e-mail transfer. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still click on PayPal button and pay with your credit card through PayPal’s secure platform. If you choose e-mail transfer, your bookin is finalized once the payment is cleared.

I do both. Posed newborn sessions are done here at Alpina studio. At the studio sessions, you have access to a wide variety of props and wraps for new born girls and boys. If you prefer a more casual, lifestyle session with natural light, we do it at your home. No studio lights or props are used in these sessions, as they are supposed to capture the everyday life of baby in his/her own environment.

Ideal time for newborn photos is between 4 and 15 days from birth. If you past this period, it’s never too late. I photograph every stage of babies and children.

Most clients prefer beautiful Calgary parks for summer and fall. I usually shoot at Bowness, Edworthy, Confederation or Riley Park. Some clients prefer their own homes and yards. During Christmas season, we are usually indoors. I also set-up my studio with holiday props for children and families.

Our pets are part of our families, so yes, they can be in the pictures as long as they are well behaved and not disruptive during the photo shoot.

If the weather is not cooperative on our shooting day, we can always reschedule it for the nearest possible date.

Kids portraits can be either done indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. For indoor studio sessions, you have access to a variety of props for kids. We can do holiday themes such as Christmas, Easter or Halloween. You can include all your kids in these sessions.

You have two main options for business portraits. Studio headshots are 20 min sessions that comes with 2 digital images. On location sessions are 1.5 hrs full body portraits at a place of your choice (outdoors, your office, home etc)  and it comes with 4  digital images. Additional images are available for purchase.

If you would like to book headshots for your entire team, we can come to your office with our studio lights and backdrops and do it on-location with minimum interruption to your work day.

Yes, i do event photography whether it is a family get-together, a baby shower or a a corporate party. You can book your event photography online from the services and booking page.
