In-Studio Sessions
Our in-studio graduation photo sessions are designed for those looking for a classic, timeless grad portrait in front of a plain background with professional studio lighting. These are primarily solo sessions, but you have the option to include up to two family members for a few special shots. You’ll have the option to pose with and without a cap and gown, capturing both traditional and personal looks. You’re welcome to bring your school’s cap and gown, but if you don’t have access to one, we also provide a matte black cap and gown for your session. This package includes two high-resolution digital images with full editing and retouching, ensuring you look your best. Additional digital images or prints are available for purchase separately.
Outdoor Sessions
Our outdoor graduation photo sessions are perfect for celebrating this milestone with your loved ones. These family-focused sessions allow you to include up to six family members, creating a mix of solo and group portraits in a natural, meaningful setting. You can choose a park or your school campus as your backdrop, or we can recommend one of the many beautiful locations we know for stunning grad photos. Feel free to wear your prom dress for a stylish, celebratory look and bring your cap and gown to capture classic graduation portraits. If you don’t have a cap and gown, we also provide a matte black set for your session. This package includes five high-resolution digital images with full editing and retouching, with the option to purchase additional digital images or prints separately.

Grad Sessions FAQ
Where is the best place for outdoor grad photos?
Most clients prefer beautiful Calgary parks for summer and fall. I usually shoot at Bowness, Edworthy, Confederation or Riley Park. If you have a historic looking school building, we can aldo use it as a background .
What if I don't have a cap and gown?
If you are late for grad photos and you already returned your school gown, don’t panic, you are covered. You can use our matt black cap and gown which is pretty standard for grad photos.
What time of the day is recommended for outdoor portrait sessions?
The best time for outdoor portraits is either late afternoon or within 2 hours before sunset for summer and fall sessions. If it is winter, it doesn’t really matter as the sun will always be low, but you wouldn’t like to do it in the dark either, so it shouldn’t be later than 3pm depending on the month.
What to wear for the grad sessions?
If it is a studio session, we recommend wearing formal attire, on which the gown will look better. Your prom dress can be another option. If it is an outdoor session, you can add casual style to the afforementioned options. Don’t forget to bring your diploma to your session.
What is the pre-session phone meeting about?
We have a pre-session phone meeting with all of our clients to communicate the session type (indoor/outdoor), the location, the theme, style, props, preferred colors and clothing.
What if it rains on our photo shoot day?
If the weather is not cooperative on our shooting day, we can always reschedule it for the nearest possible date.
Can we bring our pet to the outdoor grad session?
Your pet is part of your family, so yes, they can be in the pictures as long as they are well behaved and not disruptive during the photo shoot.
What to expect after our grad session?
Within a week following your session, you receive a gallery of soft edited images. Then you choose your images that is included in your session and order the ones you would like to have additionally. Within a week from your selection, you receive your fully edited high resolution digital images in an online gallery where you can download for yourself and share with your loved ones.
